90% Brain

Terms of use

Everything that runs on your own machine is free, forever. What runs on our servers — your devices kept in step, room for media, agent access — is the paid plan. These terms cover both.

1. Who you are agreeing with

90% Brain is operated by Fabian Hediger, Switzerland. Using the web app, the desktop app or the Android app means accepting these terms.

2. Free and Plus

3. Paying for Plus

4. Refunds and the right to cancel

If you are a consumer in the EU or the UK you have 14 days to withdraw from the purchase. Because Plus is a digital service supplied immediately, starting to use it within those 14 days means asking for immediate performance; you can still withdraw, and Paddle will refund in proportion to what is left.

Outside that, a refund will be given within 30 days of a purchase if Plus did not do what this page says it does. Ask through the receipt Paddle sent you, or through Paddle’s own buyer support, and it will be processed.

5. Your account

You can use the app with no account at all. If you create one, keep your credentials to yourself and tell us if you think someone else has them. You may delete your account and everything synced with it at any time, from Settings or by asking.

6. Your material is yours

Everything you import, write, extract and review stays yours. No ownership in it is claimed, it is not used to train any model, and it is not read except as needed to give you the service you asked for. Sync stores it so your devices can share it; that is all.

Keep your own backups. Settings exports the whole collection as JSON. Young software, browser storage and hosted services all lose data sometimes, and no guarantee is given against that.

7. What you may not do

Accounts that do these things can be suspended.

8. Third parties

Some features reach services you choose: an AI provider you supply a key for, a website you import from, a video you embed. Their terms govern what they do, and any charge they make is between you and them.

9. No warranty, and the limit of liability

The app is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. To the extent the law allows, no liability is accepted for indirect or consequential loss, lost data or lost profit. Nothing here limits liability for intent, gross negligence, or personal injury, and mandatory consumer rights where you live are unaffected.

10. Ending it

You may stop at any time; export first if you want a copy. The service may be discontinued with reasonable notice, and notice will be given while an export is still possible.

11. Changes to these terms

These terms may change as the product grows. Substantial changes will be announced in the app before they take effect, and for anyone on a paid plan, before the next renewal.

12. Law and jurisdiction

Swiss law applies, with the courts of PLACE OF JURISDICTION — fill in before publishing, Switzerland, competent. If you are a consumer in the EU or the UK, the mandatory law of your country of residence applies to you regardless.
